Well, seeing as my more immediate friends ad associates have already been made aware of the following news, it is now time for the rest of you.

I will be moving to Florida before the new school year begins.

God is moving mightily and quickly, and this is not conjecture - it is real. I have been blessed to know all of my friends and associates in North Carolina over the last seven-plus years, but times have changed and we must follow the Lord's call.

I would be lying if I said I was horribly torn up about this transition, as it will be almost a sigh of relief to start afresh. Granted, I do wish that more time with friends and associates was possible, but this change is occurring at a moment in our lives that my family and I feel is within the Lord's perfect timing. North Carolina holds many memories for me, and most of these are pleasant ones that I cherish immensely. There have been, however, stains upon my heart and upon my character that I am anxious to shed in a new place where I will be free of any past history. A fresh beginning where scars of the past will be free to begin to heal, as it were.

As for the future direction, I will continue to attend the university where I have made my home-away-from home over the last two years, as long as God permits me to remain there. My Floridian relatives and my father will be in the process of forging ahead with a family venture that promises a minimum of stress - a precious boon in recent times, especially within the last month or so.

I will still be here, posting infrequently as I do, but my time is mostly consumed at the moment with packing, moving, and organizing in preparation for the next big thing in our lives. I am anxious to get moving soon, for the old wounds are beginning their periodic fester of late.

The body of Christ benefits from mutual prayer and encouragement through the Word. I am eager to begin the next chapter of my life on this transient world, pressing onward in the faith until God sees fit to take me home.
